An insight into what I'm all about.

Born February 1967 to Jean and David.Raised in Birmingham.Mom and dad having a huge influence over my taste in music.Just the usual stuff,Elvis,The Beatles,Kinks,Little Richard etc .A handful of scratty 45's were my staple daily diet of tunes. From an early age I was encouraged to play these 45's ,piled up in a toast rack type wire thing without sleeves ,on a record player where you would stack your chosen handful on the tall spindle and watch them drop one by one, These memories stay with you forever and its the same with photography, messing around with the cheapest of cameras trying to freeze things in mid air, toying with perspective, doing anything to get an interesting shot.

The time has come to take action, to explore and develop what I'm passionate about. Its not about making a lot of money, although that would be nice, its about doing something thats valuable to others with my time, knowing that when I'm dead and buried something that I created is still bringing pleasure to future generations. It all sounds a bit profound but it's an acurate account for me personally. Longeveity is the key!

Since as far back as I can remember I have had various people telling me that I could make a living from my submerged creative side. In one form or another I have always experimented with the creative arts, from producing shorts films to recreating potraits in different mediums and even dj'ing. Its all about connecting with people and seeing their reaction when I get it just right for them. That feeling is addictive.

It always comes back to photography for me. Since the early seventies using my moms Kodak to snap away at anyone who would stand still for more than a second to my more formative years getting creative with my first single lense reflex camera. Now with the advant of advanced digital slr cameras the possibilities are endless.

Zoom lenses allow a distance between you and the subject. It means that you capture  real natural moments.Moments that seem so insignificant until you see the photograph. Its a chance to see the moment again but through someone elses eyes.

In a nutshell we create new memories for you ."priceless stuff"
